


Meet Monica Blaze Leavitt
Monica Blaze Leavitt is an actor, director, dialect coach, and founding artistic member of the award-winning Off-Broadway company Transport Group, where her credits include The Audience, All the Way Home, Requiem for William, and Our Town. With an MFA in Acting from the University of Virginia and over twenty-five years in New York, she has originated roles in more than 30 new and workshopped plays from around the world.
On screen she has appeared in Law & Order, Sex and the City, and Remedy (Netflix), and as a voice artist she has lent her talents to commercials for the NYSE, eHarmony, and Cartoon Network, as well as Melissa Mars' films The Last Touch and The Sign.
A certified Lessac Institute Teacher, she has coached actors for over twenty-five years in Standard American, accent reduction, and regional and international dialects — helping performers from France, Italy, Greece, the Netherlands, and beyond book roles and disappear into their characters.
